Content in an ecommerce site can respond in real-time to user behaviors, but sometimes you gotta draw a picture to help clients understand this concept.

How?

• Whiteboarded processes in brainstorming session
• Converted to Visio
• Had designers pretty them up in Illustrator
• Added to published whitepaper

So What?

It looks a lot simpler in diagram form than it is in real life to get all the pieces talking to each other, especially a companies disparate business units who touch or are affected by content.
